caif
New Order rees in the early 1980s from the ashes of Joy Division, the British pioneers of post punk, electropop and became one of the first bands that reached mainstream success in the US. Their single Blue Monday was a cardinal point in the dance, and in subsequent recordings they knew a perfect balance between technology and the craft of pop song. Technique, from 1989, embraced the Balearic House sound of Ibiza, where they to a large extent the album recordings, and acid house. The following year, New Order took the official song for the English participation in the World Cup. This single World In Motion reached the first place of the UK singles chart and remains probably the only good example of a World Cup song! Band leader Bernard Sumner flirted with Johnny Marr, under the heading of Electronic, he amassed for the famous Quartet sporadically while new recordings-Get Ready (2001) and Waiting For The Sirens Call (2007) and world tours.
